Kara & Tim Maternity
July 18, 2020
Kara and I go way back to our sorority sister days at IU in Alpha Gamma Delta! I was a freshman when she was a senior and we represented our house together at Little 50, the running version of IU’s fabled Little 500 bike race. From then on, it’s been fun following one another’s lives through marriage, home purchases, and so many of life’s milestones!
The most fun one yet is coming up for the Gazdziak family, with the birth of baby G in November/December of this year! I’m so thrilled for these two parents to be. They recently purchased a home this year and have the perfect foundation to grow their family :) I met them in Fort Sheridan, where we took photos in the most beautiful places. I’m sure you’ll agree!
We started at the Fort Sheridan water tower, a historical water tower that reminded me of a beautiful college campus and now serves as apartment homes.
The Gazdziak’s wanted to use this photo session to share their pregnancy announcement! I loved the mini + meep sunshine onesie, ultrasound photos, and sunflowers they brought along.
Across from the water tower, there is a beautiful open stretch of green space, perfect for picnics, dogs, and ultimate frisbee games! I love our golden hour photos here.
This cute mama is just around 20 weeks and looking SO cute with her little bump!
Kara’s hat tried to fly away, but Tim saved it! How cute are these two…
We ended our session by the beachfront and found the most photogenic fallen tree in the water. Naturally, we had to climb into the water to get the next few photos, but it was so worth it!
We are such big fans of Kara & Tim and can’t wait for baby G to join the family! =)
