Goering Family Session

The Goering’s originally hail from Kansas, but made Chicago their home together for the past seven years. Steven and I first met Nate & Kendra attending church together and bonded through our littles. Kendra has the most compassionate heart and is the most genuine sweet soul. Nate leads our worship band and is a talented singer songwriter who produces music of his own as well! They recently decided to go into full-time ministry in Germany and will be moving there in August with their three children: Eliana (5), Edie (3) and baby Theo. The kids’ smiles and playful personalities made our family session at Lincoln Park Zoo fun and oh so memorable.

These two ladies have the most fun friendship…they make me want to have daughters!

During our session, it looked like a small crowd gathered for an impromptu wedding ceremony under the honeycomb! As a result, I got to get creative and capture this fun new angle ;) I kind of love it!!

Pure joy and enthusiasm from these ladies all afternoon long. Eliana specially curated a handful of leaves to “feed the giraffe” later.
